Throughout our lives, we encounter many experiences of passage. It can the birth of a child, meeting the love of your life, the loss of someone beloved to you or a myriad of other possibilities. One of the greatest passages that we face is our own transition beyond this physical life. The painting,“Waiting at the Passage” is my personal view of what I believe to be one aspect of that transition, the passage into the next life. Someone will be waiting for each one of us at our passage, someone whose very presence will dissipate all our fear and uncertainty. Together we will move into what is next for us, knowing that all things are unfolding in the perfection of all things created.
